How is everyone liking Everest that started this month? I'm thinking of it as a back up if all falls through where I currently am at Baker, with their nursing program.

HELLO ALL

I am also hoping to attend Everest LPN program in May (next avail fulltime class). I take the Hesi on tuesday the 15th and I am super excited. Has anyone taken the hesi for the school yet? I heard that they just transferred from the PSB to the hesi as of Jan 11 and not to many ppl have taken it yet. I was hoping to find ANYONE who has taken the HESI for everest. Is there anyone on here that is currently enrolled in the LPN program? I plan on working midnights while I am in the program, I wonder how difficult that will be. If there is anyone out there that can help let me know. Thanks

Hi try Riverview Institue of oakland university in detroit,mi off jefferson ave.

I start the lpn program in march its a great school and the tuition about 10,000

much cheaper and better than Everest Institue everest is a rip off and very disorganized!

Is there a waiting list?

i am not sure about the waitlist but if so i don't think its no more than a few months the program starts every Jan and Sept i believe its well worth the wait because its affordable and its through a university! go to the webdsite at www.oaklandedu and select riverview institue in the left column hope this help keep me posted good luck.

Do you know if you can then do a LPN to RN program somewhere else in Michigan? I am originally from Michigan, and would like to move back. I'm currently on a wait list in Arizona.

yes there are a few cmty colleges here in mich that offer bridge programs like oakland cmty college and henryford cmty. how is Arizona i was thinking about moving there one day.

I have tried the Riverview program and there is one year waiting list and there is NO financial aid. So the loans are strictly LOANS. I start at Everest and my loans were under 10000 after my grants and everything. It worked out great. No waiting list, no pre reqs, and Im done in a year. I have heard some good and bad things about the school but as with any school you have to make the best of your situation. Good Luck to everyone at whatever school you choose it will be difficult.

tarena14,

I would not recommend moving to Arizona. There aren't many jobs here, and the crime rate is very high. I moved here to take a teaching job, and I hate it!! Can't wait to move back home!

Yes, whatever works for you. I am going to get my drug screening and fingerprinting completed tomorrow. They called me today. Is your job hiring? Are you on facebook?
