Hello, thank you for your help with the pop up guidance, I took Nclex-RN today and the computer cut off after 75 questions but you can't tell if you passed based on that alone, so I followed your instructions with the pop up trick and I received the red triangle stating I cannot reschedule, so I feel 100% that I passed without being noticed from BON.. thanks again, I will come back and update with official results hopefully with the quick results in 48 hours..ttyl I am in Michigan.

If so can you please reply to this thread, I have just applied and hoping to get accepted into the summer semester in july 2013. I would like to know if someone can give me any tips for being successful in the TPN program this summer.

yes there are a few cmty colleges here in mich that offer bridge programs like oakland cmty college and henryford cmty. how is Arizona i was thinking about moving there one day.

i am not sure about the waitlist but if so i don't think its no more than a few months the program starts every Jan and Sept i believe its well worth the wait because its affordable and its through a university! go to the webdsite at www.oaklandedu and select riverview institue in the left column hope this help keep me posted good luck.

Hi try Riverview Institue of oakland university in detroit,mi off jefferson ave. I start the lpn program in march its a great school and the tuition about 10,000 much cheaper and better than Everest Institue everest is a rip off and very disorganized!

Wow Anne thats awesome to know there is no waitlist, if i had known that i would have applied but i needed to take that math entrance exam and chemistry thats a blessing you got in so fast occ is a really good school with a great rep some of their courses and instructors can be challenging but you will make it just stay on your studying! but I'm happy about Riverview because their a divison of Oakland University which is a plus.

Hi, The best advise I can give you now is to take the ACT Test asap! I didnt have to because I have college credits. I believe its the best school around beside the cmty college and thats only because tuition is cheaper and they accept financial aid. I got such a wonderful feeling when i went to orientation! the director was so nice and patient with us regarding all the questions, i feel so blessed to have been accepted! because i was getting ready to go to Toledo I also was looking at occ but the wait list is a bit much! best wishes to you i hope this help, stay in touch with me and i will inform you more with my success!

Hi Anne and congratulations on your acceptance at occ, thats a good school i took 28 credits there a while back i was really considering the Lpn program there but the waitlist is long and they only accept once a year but i am considering the bridge program to rn once i complete the lpn at riverview. The program length at riverview is 12-15 months depending if you have credits to transfer in. Good luck and stay intouch!

Hi, I think nursing is a better career because you have a broader range of areas to work in. Med tech is good too but be sure because you are limited to that one area which is the lab.
