  1. Brittney-I didn't know they had a part time program starting. I heard talk about it but didn't know they started it up. What are the hours and how long does it take to complete the program? Anne-Yes, I heard your pre reqs have to be within the last 5 years
  2. HI Brittanyrae I am currently enrolled at everest for jan. 2010 as well. I called schoolcraft college and they have the LPN to RN bridge program. I told her I was going to a vocational school and told her specifically Everest. I wanted to find out about transferring to get my RN. I was told as long as I have my LPN state license, that I would be eligible to apply to their bridge program. I was told it does not matter which school you attend for your LPN. She said the LPN to RN bridge program is one year. There are pre reqs however you will have to be sure you have from the community college such as A & P etc. The everest classes won't apply for that. It works for me because I have my associates from a community college with all the pre reqs required. Hope this info. helps
  3. Hi lovebug and Miasmom Are you starting Everest in January? I will be starting the LPN program in Jan. I just got accepted this week. Hope to see you there
  4. Hii Hopesgramcracker I got the call this week from Everest and have been accepted to start the LPN program in January...YAY How are things coming along for you? Just wanted to give you the update
  5. Hi there Have you found anything out with regard to your question.? I have been accepted to the LPN program at everest in southfield. I start in Jan. My understanding is that you can do an LPN to RN program as long as you have your state license.
  6. Katie, I talked to you awhile back. I have been accepted to the LPN program starting in Jan. (southfield). Have you decided if you are going there?
  7. Jenn I too have completed the admissions process and awaiting a notice for January's class. Have you completed everything and are you planning on going if you get accepted? Wondering if you were able to talk to anyone else to gather more information as to how they like the program? Thanks!
  8. Oh thank you for brightening my night...I will let you know the outcome!!! :)
  9. Madison44 How are things going for you in the program? I am praying I will be accepted in January. I have gone through all the steps now in the application process. Please give me some advice about the program. I guess I will know either way when the letter comes. Also, hopesgramcracker told me it is a requirement to have a medical background to get in the program. I have concerns now about them denying me since I haven't been employed in the medical field. I know this is my calling and I so want this. Please offer me any information you can. Thank you
  10. Lovebug and BellaBlues Hi there. Are either of you enrolled in the LPN program now at Everest in Sfld? I have applied for January and will be interviewing with the Director of Nursing. Have you heard that medical experience is now a requirement to get in the program? Not just a plus. I had someone just tell me it is now a requirement and I haven't worked in the medical field. I am now concerened about being accepted and this is something I really need to happen for my career goals. Please offer any information you have Thank you
  11. HI Hopesgramcracker Thank you for the response. So you are saying that if I haven't worked in the medical field that I have no chance of being accepted to the program? Now I have major concerns since I have not officially been employed in the healthcare field. Please let me know where you heard that information as far as medical exp. being a requirement to be accepted. Thank you again
  12. Am applying and have completed most of the steps with Everest Southfield for the LPN program. What can I expect on the day of my interview with the Director of Nursing? THank YOU
  13. Hi Hopesgramcracker I was wondering if you could offer me some information about Everest LPN once you have passed all the tests. I am awaiting the last step which is the interview with the Director of Nursing. What can I expect that day? How long is the interview, what type of questions I might be able to expect and is there anything else I should be prepared for on that day of the interview?? I know they mentioned they do a background check and drugscreen I think, etc. Do we have to go to a clinic and pay for that and when is all that conducted? Do they let you know if you are accepted that day? Ok lots of questions I know but any information would be helpful. How is school going? Admissions weren't detailed except said to wear a suit. THANK YOU!!!!!
  14. THank you!! NOw, one more question, how do you like everest and how are the majority of the students doing that are in your program? Thanks!!!!
  15. Did you take the PSB yet? Any advice would be great..TY!!!!!!!!!!
