  1. Im wondering the same.. I only have a 3.0.. phys, pretty much nailed me hard! eekk... I wonder how many apply and what get's u in?
  2. Hey ladies! Im highly interested as well. I e-mailed them, and they sound pretty promising. The only thing, I am not sure is about how many students do u think apply? Also, what is a big factor in who they choose? Do you know? Also, what are the banks u can go thru to get student loans for this? If u could let me know, that would be fabulous! Thanks! :)
  3. Congrats on graduating! Did u like the program?!? Did u get any kind of financial aide while doing it?!? Also, what r ur pro's and con's of the program?
  4. R u all liking the program so far? Thinking about applying for the the fall 2010 program? Let me know ladies! Also, how much exactly did u pay?
  5. What about G.R. area? I work in a hospital right now as a tech and almost push 14.00 on night shift. But, I also have 4 yrs of experience. So, there's an idea for ya.
  6. I highly interested. However, I live in Grand Rapids and it would be a super long ride, but what is the schedule like for the nights/ weekends? Can you work it around a job?!? If anyone could get me some information that would be fabulous! Thanks!! :)
  7. What other way can I get ahold of you? I have tons of questions about Phys. class, if u could let me know that would be great! :)
  8. How do u send a private message? I have tons of questions for ya!!!
  9. Yes, they have a part-time program here in G.R. It's mostly for individuals who have to work/ or family oriented. The program takes 2 years, and is Mon-Fri 5:00-10:30 pm. Clinicals are agreed upon the individuals in the class what days are best, such as: Sat or Sun and what times. I was gonna personally opt for this, but I work 2md shift 7-7a, so that would never work! I talked to them yesterday, they called to check on me, and right now they start the Part time program again in Feb. and the Fulltime in May. I might have to do the fulltime option personally now, it's from 8-5pm Mon-Fri. Let me know what you think! :) and Yes, depending on some colleges, ur science pre-req's are good anywhere from 5-8yrs. Just depends on the school. :)
  10. Doodles, Thanks that helps a lot! Im actually doing the part-time program now in May instead of fulltime. I have to work full-time, so it works better for me! I work in a Hospital, and dont really want to leave my job for school, when Im in such a great job right now and working for an awesome Hospital! I wish u luck, and let me know how ur first couple of weeks go, Im really interested! :) Thanks.
  11. JM, thanks for the tips. Sucks, that I wouldn't get in until 2012, the waiting lists are crazy around here. I may take a more expensive approach, I just dont have time to be sitting around for 2 years for a nursing program. Get's kinda hard! Kwesey, did u get my last message?!? Let me know, I would like tips If I could for his class, greatly appreciated. I also heard taking Pharm at JCC is awesome, and it's online and very easy. Medical Term, isn't gonna be a problem, already took it and have been working at a hospital for 2 years now, and have prior nursing experience in an LTC. :) Thanks Ladies, Appreciate it greatly!
  12. Im actually taking the class over, because the last teach I had was cool, but I hated his way of teaching! I got a C in the class but U have to have a b-... So, I am gonna try again! What should I look for, and any tips? It's greatly appreciated! :)

Does, anyone know how long the wait list right now is? Im planning on doing Part-Time. I have to because Im a single-mom and have to work full-time.. if you coule let me know that would be great. 15. Ok, good. I just want to make sure, the money I am dishing out for Everest, is going to be able to be used as a stepping stone for a RN program! :) I know I kinda already have a head start then most of my other fellow students because I spent 1 1/2 years at CC and got all my nursing pre-req's finished already.... Thanks :)
