Long Beach City College (LBCC) ADN Fall 2021

Hey all,

I haven't seen a forum for the LBCC Fall 2021 ADN cohort yet, so I decided to create one! I understand it's an extremely competitive lottery system, but I thought we can use this forum to ask questions, share stats, and/or talk about the application process.

According to past selections, there are usually 500-1500 applicants and only around 40 are given a spot. 20 people will be listed as alternates.

I will be applying with:

Life Sciences GPA: 4.0

English & Math GPA: 4.0

Overall GPA (I'm not sure if they look at this but..): 3.91

I took the TEAS twice (for other schools), but for my first try, I scored 81.3.

Hello everyone, one of my friends emailed the nursing department about the release of application decisions and was told that it would be on the first-second week of June. Just wanted to let you guys know since I understand that everyone, including me, is anxious.

I got rejected. I got in to LASC tho.

Just received notice I was not selected. Apparently they received over 1600 applications with only 40 seats up for grabs. 
 

I accepted a seat at El Camino last week. Anyone else apply to El Camino for Fall 2021?

Thanks PaintingRain!! I literally broke down in tears because I was waiting for just one yes and LBCC was unexpected but here we are ?? Still waiting on 3 schools but this is a very big win ??
