Long Beach City College (LBCC) ADN Fall 2021

Hey all,

I haven't seen a forum for the LBCC Fall 2021 ADN cohort yet, so I decided to create one! I understand it's an extremely competitive lottery system, but I thought we can use this forum to ask questions, share stats, and/or talk about the application process.

According to past selections, there are usually 500-1500 applicants and only around 40 are given a spot. 20 people will be listed as alternates.

I will be applying with:

Life Sciences GPA: 4.0

English & Math GPA: 4.0

Overall GPA (I'm not sure if they look at this but..): 3.91

I took the TEAS twice (for other schools), but for my first try, I scored 81.3.

I only received a confirmation email of Entry. Haven't heard anything since.

We should hear sometime this week or next week. They said it we will know in 6-8 weeks and we are in week 7. Feeling nervous!!

Someone I know emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and he responded back and said notifications will be sent via email to everyone that applied at the end of May.

Ohhhh noooooo! So they are pushing the dates even further back :/. I guess it’s more waiting time for us then. Smh.

Has anyone received anything yet? Today officially marks the 8th week? Buy still haven’t received any updates yet.

Hello everyone, one of my friends emailed the nursing department about the release of application decisions and was told that it would be on the first-second week of June. Just wanted to let you guys know since I understand that everyone, including me, is anxious.

Hi everybody!

I have been waiting for acceptance notices but haven't got anything yet. Does anybody know when it's supposed to be out? I saw that it was supposed to be 6 to 8 weeks but I wasn't too sure...
