Lonestar Fall 2013 hopefuls

Hi everyone!

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2013 Lonestar College basic track ADN program. LSC-Montgomery is my first choice, followed by LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball.

I applied with an 11.81. Has anyone else out there applied, or are you preparing to apply?

Looking forward to starting a supportive and informative Lonestar thread, as applicants have the past few years

I looked on the nursing section at Lone Star, but I don't see where it has a link to do the SS verification.

It is a little confusing with all the paperwork and I've heard its going to get worse after orientation! I don't know about anyone but having an acceptance from one school and an alternate from another is especially confusing because it's in two different formats and different things are due at different times! Is anyone going to the June 5th orientation at NH?

I am looking for CPR class now. Is BLS same to CPR? When I go to the American Heart Association site and there is no 'CPR' course...

we can take BLS for healthcare provider, cant we?

Are you going to cy fair? Idk if bls is the same or not. All I know is that it has to be qualified as a healthcare provider cpr not just a regular cpr class... I didn't even know there was a difference until an advisor told me the certification I have through work doesn't count. NH specifically said not to get the cpr done yet.

I finally found the thread for fall 2013. My name is Nancy and I got accepted at Cy-Fair campus this coming fall. I just want to say hello and make friends with my future classmates :)
