Lonestar Fall 2013 hopefuls

Hi everyone!

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2013 Lonestar College basic track ADN program. LSC-Montgomery is my first choice, followed by LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball.

I applied with an 11.81. Has anyone else out there applied, or are you preparing to apply?

Looking forward to starting a supportive and informative Lonestar thread, as applicants have the past few years

Stephalump or anyone that can shed some knowledge: I'm on the hunt for some all white sneakers. I am a huge Nike fan and wear those at work now and my feet never hurt. I am wondering if they have to be ALL WHITE or can they have a silver air pocket? Thanks in advance! :D

Does anyone know about the Quest Basic Track at Kingwood? I know it is for people with a degree already, but wondering what kind of degree specifically.

ok Montgomery Hopefuls, I talked to the nursing department today and still no good news. They are excepting the BON results back this week and are hopeful to send out letters by next week!! They are really trying to make us sweat!! At least by the time I find out you guys can give me all the info I need cause y'all will be weeks ahead of me with getting your check list done!!!

That's the second incident at a Lone Star campus, the first being a shooting at the North Harris campus.

It is so unsettling with all these incidents happening! To think I had class at 6 tonight in that building, so glad i wasn't there at the time. Been checking on some friends though that I know had class and I haven't heard back from one :( Praying she wasn't involved.

We were told they had to be "mostly white," and that something small in another color is ok. I wear Nikes and the swoosh is silver, the sole is black, and no one has ever said a word about it. :)

I just called the scrubs store to ask what color we needed and she said that for the North Harris ADN program we will need teal pants and a white top! I remember seeing the Montgomery nursing students and they were the same!
