Lonestar 2011 ADN Hopefuls

I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?

Have any others that applied to Cy Fair as their first choice gotten their letter? I thought they went out on Tuesday???? I live like 7 minutes from the school so it shouldn't take that long to get my letter. This is making me so nervous!

I applied to cyfair and they are killing me they say the letters wee sent out and i also live in the college zip code and nothing yet hopefully tomorrow. this is very strssfull

Cyfair personel stink. How come you can't give an answer as to cut off scores or tell me yay or nay. I live 5 miles from campus as well with no dang letter either. I think they send them out to a 3rd party company in India to mail out. I called Tomball (my 2nd choice) and left a message maybe I can get further with them tomorrow then Cyfair.

Me too! I got ill eating dinner tonight and I'm so uptight and irritated it's unreal! :mad:

Awwww! I know what you mean! It seems like if a campus that has to send out 130 acceptance letters (NH) has already sent theirs a campus with only 50 should also be able to! I don't understand, but hopefully tomorrow so I can enjoy my weekend!:)

Same story here, I live just on the other side of 290 and barker cypress from cyfair(same zip) and I havn't recieved anything. Ive also been working 10 plus hour shifts since finding out they mailed them tuesday. Those 10 hours are long enough without anxiously waiting to get home and check the mail. My girlfriend has said she can tell I'm stressed.

No letter for me either. I had thought it was because I live in Katy (about 15 min from the campus) but it seems everyone is in the same boat. Stupid USPS.

Well another day and no letter from cyfair. Maybe tomorrow????

this getting stupid now!!! My face has been in front of my glass door so long waiting for the mailman that the kids think I'm some kind of window ornament

I don't think it's USPS I don't think they've been mailed and they don't have their rears in gear and finshed with them. They may have post marked them with today's date. There is no way not one person has not rec'd a letter that was mailed 'supposidly' Tuesday. They've not sent them yet because they are not complete. :banghead:

Exactly!! Something doesn't add up..I've never have had local mail take this long... and wednesday i called them and they said they mailed the letters tuesday... i called yesterday to say i didn't get anything and another lady said they were mailed monday and it sometimes takes to long. I think they mailed them late and don't want to admit fault.
