Lonestar 2011 ADN Hopefuls

I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?

Hey--- I have a declaratory order that I got previously .. where I did the fingerprinting and such already so they are checking to see if I have to do the background check over again. I wish orientation were sooner..... June seems like a long time away LOL

Katlady, Thank God I am not alone.... LOL!!! Hopefully you wont have to do it over again, I had one done about a year 1/2 ago for a job and my background is still the same, but I will probably have to do it over again which is fine since its been almost 2 years... LOL

Me too! My declaratory wasnt back in time last yr so i had to drop out of the program :-( I am now cleared(jan) so I hope I do not have to do it again. Ugh! It was a long process. Stayfocus, rubio has been on fb. Lol

So how does this background check thing works... I just paid like 45 dollars and I picked a place to go and do they do the fingerprints and background check there, I am confused I hope I didnt do anything wrong...

I will suggest that both of you got to the nursing dept at NH. I applied to NH as my first choice with an 11.64 and I never got a letter so I called them and they told me I was accepted and she said she was going to mail another letter, but I refused and told her that I will drive up there to pick up the letter. I just picked up my letter today so I suggest you both do the same.
