Lonestar 2011 ADN Hopefuls

I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?

For the CPR...I grabbed a Continuing Education booklet from the college and these are the classes available

LSC-Conroe on 4/8, LSC-Cyfair 5/8, LSC-Kingwood 4/9 & 5/14, LSC-North Harris 4/23 & 5/14, LSC-Tomball 4/30. The class is: CPR for the Health Care Provider and meets requirements of the American Heart Association.

Oh the May 15 class sounds good to me, because I would love to take mine after finals, but before summer session begins. Thank you so much for the information, this is so helpful:up::up:

Internet Buddies I need help understanding something, the class RNSG 1172 has to be taken before our actually classes for the nursing program starts and what kind of class is it I tried looking it up and I couldnt find it... Im still learning how to use Lone Star class search....If someone could please tell where I need to go to read about the class or if someone could explain it to me... Thanks

Stayfocus I think that class is "preparation for basic care". It's a Summer course: RNSG 1172. Class begins on Monday, August 2 and ends on August 19. Classes are from 8-12pm or 12-4pm.

I requested that one also, because I have pharmacology on T &Th's 10-1:40, so I can't come to the Tuesday one on 6/21. Girl you don't have to ask to join us we are all in this together so the more the merrier:hpygrp:
