  1. NCLEXEATER I sent you a PM with my email address.
  2. Thanks Nlytwyn for the advise. Can you give me an idea about the kind of schedule and hours we can expect the first semester in the program??
  3. I'm going on June 8th also. So, I'll wear my screan name also and look for the group of all of you! Can't wait. Soo excited!!:anpom:
  4. Stayfocus I think that class is "preparation for basic care". It's a Summer course: RNSG 1172. Class begins on Monday, August 2 and ends on August 19. Classes are from 8-12pm or 12-4pm. YEY!
  5. PEYTON12 did you get your letter?? If not, don't worry, I had an 11.18, and just got my letter today from NH. :) Thanks ads85, were you able to get the group thread going??
  6. I just got my letter! I'm so happy!

  10. :anbd:I know it's too soon, but .....any chance anyone has heard something yet??
  11. Thanks Supaflyz and TXDiscoDiva, that really makes me feel better. You are so right. I know their are many of you "hopefuls" out there who are in the same or similar situation as I am. All of you "hopefuls", don't give up! This will be our year! And, it really excites me knowing about that NEW Health Professions building! Can't wait!!:yelclap:
  12. I think the tiebreaker was being considered when they didn't have enough applicants, with the new HESI requirements being met. Now, I think they do, so they're just going to pick the highest scores.
  13. No. But I'm guessing they have enough now that they are not going to use the tiebreaker. My score, honestly is not very high. My HESI score was good, but I have a B for PSYC, which bring my score to 11.18. Is it enough?? I'm hoping and praying it will be. I also wish you all the best I know what it's like to work for and struggle for a chance into this competitive program. I know a lot of people who are smart and want it really bad, but still can't make the required cutoff. Like I said, I truly wish you all the best.
  14. I also turned in my application today. It's scary because we don't really know what the cutoffs could be, like supaflyz said. We'll just have to wait. I asked the adviser at North Harris again today, and she says she has a wide variety of scores, from the 10s up to 11.8s. She did also mention she didn't think they would need to go with the tie breaker.
  15. Thanks guys. I took my HESI today and did pretty good. I also spoke to the nursing prg adviser. She says she's only received 20 applications so far! She says half of the people taking the HESI aren't passing the 75 minimum. So, with the new changes who knows what will be the cutoff this year.
