  1. If you don't mind me asking, when is match day, where is it at and what time is it. I applied to 3 different locations and I haven't heard anything from them yet.
  2. Wishing everyone preparing for nclex the best of luck, stay positive and God will make it happen for you.
  3. You all need to calm down and take a deep breath, I know y'all will be fine. I am also finishing my first year at NH and I believe my classmates and my instructors rock. I heard alot of bad things about the NH program and the instructors before I got in but honestly I was pleasantly surprised. I can't remember us losing anyone in the first semester because they failed, but I remember we lost some people who figured that nursing wasn't for them. I have a friend in the nursing program at montgomery and I actually think it's a little bit harder over there. I have 2 kids a 7 and 4, our instructors are there to help you suceed if you go to them. Nursing school is going to be hard no matter the program you get into, it's going to be alot of critical thinking and application questions, just memorizing the material won't work. To suceed I would advise you work full time, and manage your time effectively, lectures are mondays and tuesdays and you have one day of clinical a week which could be a wednedsay or a thursday it depends on which one you get. For NH students I would advise you attend camp wanna win so that you can get all the information you need to suceed in nursing school. Congratulations on being accepted and I believe you will be all fine.
  4. I just requested to join the the facebook page of lonestar adn 2013 hopeful for NH. Can someone confirm me pls, my name is Gillian K.
  5. trb1226 and lapwill I will suggest that both of you got to the nursing dept at NH. I applied to NH as my first choice with an 11.64 and I never got a letter so I called them and they told me I was accepted and she said she was going to mail another letter, but I refused and told her that I will drive up there to pick up the letter. I just picked up my letter today so I suggest you both do the same.
  6. lapwill did you get your letter from north harris yet?
