Lonestar 2011 ADN Hopefuls

I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?

I haven't been on here in forever it seems like. Trying to stay busy. I have already began my daily trips to the mailbox, but I called the Cy Fair nursing office this morning and was told that letters have not been mailed yet. Grrrrr! Congrats to those accepted at Montgomery! That's so exciting :yeah:Also my condolences go out to stayfocus. Sorry for your loss. I am trying to be patient, but it is starting to wear thin! Hopefully by the end of the week... I can hope right? Best wishes to everyone :nurse:

Hey everyone!

So nervous & waiting impatiently.. I am surprised I haven't broken out w. a rash from the stress! Congrats on everyone who has been accepted so far, such an awesome feeling! I applied to Tomball first, then Cyfair... I spoke w. the Tomball nursing program & they said they should be sending out letters this week! WHOOP! Hopefully at the beginning of the week rather than Friday!!!

My nerves are so bad too!! It has taken alot of work for all of us to get to this point.... The waiting is SO EXCRUTIATING!!! My first pick was NH and my second was Montgomery... I did not get a letter from Montgomery so I hope that means I am in at NH..... (my rank score--- 11.76)... OH PLEASE OH PLEASE... I dont think I can take it much more!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW--- I am a Conroe-nian also and put NH as my first choice cuz they ahve the LVN option in the summer after the first year and they accept so many people compared to the other schools. It is a darn shame to drive right past Montgomery down 45 to go out of the way to get to NH --- but it is what it is -----..... Maybe if we all get in we could do some sort of carpool together ... save on gas.... LOL

Oh my Gosh! A carpool would be awesome for anyone who lives in Cypress but is going to Tomball/NH (hopefully)

I've been pretty busy so I haven't let the anxiety get to me, but now that I know the letters will be out any day I am getting so nervous!

Holy crap....I got my acceptance letter from NH today! If I got in all of y'all got in!! LOL My score was 11.17!! I'm crying I'm so happy. :)
