Lonestar 2011 ADN Hopefuls

I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?

I got on the alternate list at NH! I know its not a full acceptance but I am still excited! I still have hope! :monkeydance:

So I guess if someone gives up their spot, I'm in. Chicanita- I hope a spot opens up for you at Montgomery bc if you give up your spot, I'm in! :wink: Congratulations to everyone who got acceptance letters! :up:

I got into NH!!!:yeah::yeah::yeah: I am simply ecstatic:w00t:

I'm at the hospital with my mom, who is doing well and a friend texted me that she heard some people had gotten their letters, so I called my daughter at home and she checked the mailbox and then read it to me. I am so happy for me and for all of you who got their letters :ancong!: And if you haven't got yours yet just hang on a few more days it will come!!!:redpinkhe

Oh I live in Montgomery (Lake Conroe) and got mine today! NH must have sent them Thurs or Fri, I guess?? The postal service is rockin' today! haha

I GOT MY LETTER! OMG! So happy.. accepted for Tomball w. an 11.61! SO HAPPY, celebrating w. some sushi! Mmmm.. congrats everyone! Well worth the wait! Can't wait to start the program :D

If you don't mind could you please tell me what your score was? I have friend waiting to see if she will get an alternate letter and I think her score was 10.9.

She should get one. :) my score was 10.5. I'm embarrassed to say that with everyone else's scores being so much higher. I hope that your friend and I both get in!

I am new to this so please forgive me if this post comes out weird! I RECEIVED MY ACCEPTANCE LETTER FROM NH TODAY! You guys were right about the low HESI scores! My score was 11.16?? if I remember correctly. NH was my first choice.

I received my acceptance letter today for NH...... My score was 11.4........... Im so excited the wait is over...

I cant wait to meet you guys.... Good Luck to everyone, and for those who havent received a letter dont worry

it is on the way.....We r on our way to being great :nurse:.... Okay where can I take CPR at?
