Lonestar 2011 ADN Hopefuls

I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?

mine was 11.1. my first choice was north harris, so i'm sure those who have a higher score and north harris was their first choice, you'll be in too.

Congrats everyone! I guess if people are getting their letters from Tomball I should be getting mine soon! I can't wait to get off work & run to the mailbox! Yay.....!!! Seems like a lot of people are getting in w. scores close to mine!

It was 11.69 and my friend just got her acceptance for Tomball with 11.38 I think

My score was 11.1 as well...(11.17 to be exact), but NH was my 3rd choice. 1st was Mont, 2nd Tomball, 3rd NH. I knew that my score wasn't high enough for the 1st 2 schools, but thought what the heck. But I'm proof that school choice doesn't matter. They go by your score. Highest to lowest scores get in, THEN they try to grant you your school choice. Just thought I'd throw that out there if anyone is wondering how the selection process works.

I got accepted to the nursing program at North Harris!! I just got my letter today!!!!!:lol2::yeah::redbeathe

BTW--- I am a Conroe-nian also and put NH as my first choice cuz they ahve the LVN option in the summer after the first year and they accept so many people compared to the other schools. It is a darn shame to drive right past Montgomery down 45 to go out of the way to get to NH --- but it is what it is -----..... Maybe if we all get in we could do some sort of carpool together ... save on gas.... LOL

sounds good Katlady! still waiting on letter, being in conroe sucks since a lot of people have gotten theirs already! i'm hoping that's the reason all i had in the mail was a bill today! ugh!
