Lonestar 2011 ADN Hopefuls

I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?

I'm praying every night! Fingers crossed doesn't work for me! lol After I talked to the advisor today I had more confidence in my score (lol) now I've read everyones posts about their 11+ scores.... well not so confident anymore. I'm thinking I will be in the LVN program lol. We'll see.

Yeah, I'm going through HCC's application process also. Their's is a long, drawn-out application process.

Hi everyone..

I am turning in my application on Monday at Tomball.. really nervous but excited about possibly being accepted.. 11.65.

I got my hep b shots done about 10 yrs ago.. I asked the secretary at the nurse's office if this was alright, she said it was... still nervous that they won't accept it since it's old.. anyone know???

Hey Y'all,

I turned in my application to NH on Friday:lol2::lol2: It felt good to get it out of the way, but also weird at the same time, because now there is nothing to do but wait for 6 weeks :uhoh3:

Oh and the advisor told me that they are finishing up moving all the furniture into the new Health Professions Building right now, so they should be more than ready for all of the new nursing students by the Fall. That will be great, but weird not to go to a LSC campus anymore. Mmm, notice how I'm talking like I am going to be there this Fall. Oh well I guess I'm just trying to think positively :up:

Doesn't anyone think they could get the letters out sooner. I mean its all based on points so they should be able to put everyone's scores into some algorithm and then mail the results. I don't understand why it takes a month. Sigh, I'll probably be reading this forum everyday until they come.

I turned my application in today to NH so its just a waiting game for 6 weeks. This weekend I felt bored bc I had nothing to do! I've been studying for the HESI for months and now the HESI is over, I don't know what to do! lol

I keep checking on here everyday just for something to hold on to until we find out.. I am going to be a nervous wreck the next month, meh!

I am turning in my application to Tomball tomorrow.

Me too. I keep on checking this site for the update... I am so curious to know, if I will get accepted in the program..
