I didn't see a thread on here for Fall 2011 applicants to the Lonestar nursing program, so I decided to start one.:) I will be applying to Montgomery as my first choice and am really nervous about taking the HESI test with all of the added components. I applied to Kingwood this past application period with an 11.5652 and got an alternate spot, competition was fierce. So, here I go again, hopefully I'll get in this time around. I'm really nervous about the A&P portion of the HESI. I feel like I've forgotten alot of what I learned. Any suggestions from anyone?
Good luck to all applying:)
So i took the hesi and my final score is 11.5617i hope that's good enough to get in to the program...
my english composite score is 89...which im kind of bummed about because i wanted to get at least a 90 on the english...
Congratulations that' s a great score!! Which campus are you applying at?
I am apply at tomball, northharris and cy-fair lonestar. I took the hesi last semester and was really disappointed when I discovered that I would have to retake the Hesi because of the changes that were made. I will be taking this saturday if any one has any advice! Have any of you taken pharmacology?
I'm taking it right now at North Harris with Cinquemani.
I'm freaking out. I've been devoting all my time to studying the a&p and almost none to the other sections. I really wish the passing score wasn't 75. More than 4 wrong on the a&p and no nursing school. I take my test on Friday. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Also can anyone clear up this thing about the eustacian tubes. I remember vaguely that with younger people they are narrower and therefore don't drain fluid from the middle ear as well and can sometimes cause infection due to stagnation. If its something else please tell me. Good luck everyone and wish me luck to.

Actually...i got an 84% on the a&p section
on the hesi test there were 30 questions...i remember that completely..
On the score report i got, it says i missed 5 questions
but on the side...it says i got 21 out of 25 right...so thats how i got an 84...
so they only count 25 questions then? and the other 5 questions are there to help you increase your chances of passing?
idk...anyway...just make sure you dont miss 5 questions then..just to be safe
