Lone Star Spring 2011

Okay, for all of us that did not get into the Lone Star Fall 2010 program and are trying again for the Spring...here we go again.

I'm retaking AP2 this summer (I have a B so now I want an A) to increase my points. After that I just don't know what else to do because I have all co-reqs completed, CPR done and Immunizations done. What are your plans to increase your chances of getting in for the Spring?

I didn't apply. HCC didn't send my transcript in time, even though I ordered it in person with plenty of time to spare.

I'm still waiting for Quest to resume at Kingwood. Or for North Harris to change their ODAW criteria so that people without a healthcare job can actually get accepted.

I am an alternate for Kingwood. I hope they call me to accept an offer. Say a prayer for me....

Hey everybody, I need to turn in my paperwork and was wondering if anybody had faxed theirs? or is it probably safest to just take it to the office?

i turned mine in...i'm paranoid of someone losing something or whatever so i didn't even try another method..lol

My brother and I drove to Kingwood and handed them in personally. I don't trust the mail system.

I chose nights and Friday as my 1st choice for clinical. I will also be going to the evening orientation, so I'll see you there after our Pharm test!!

I chose afternoon and Thursday as my 1st choice for clinicals. Our exam is on the 20th right? Okay I just checked the syllabus and our exam is on the 20th.

CyFair didn't ask us which clinical choice we wanted, right? Just wanted to make sure I had turned in all the correct paperwork due today. There were just 2 papers, right? I am assuming Kingwood had this additional paper because they start clinicals in Jan and we don't until summer?
