Okay, for all of us that did not get into the Lone Star Fall 2010 program and are trying again for the Spring...here we go again.

I'm retaking AP2 this summer (I have a B so now I want an A) to increase my points. After that I just don't know what else to do because I have all co-reqs completed, CPR done and Immunizations done. What are your plans to increase your chances of getting in for the Spring?

Does anyone know what the actual cut off was for Kingwood?

When I dropped my papers off at the office the lady at the desk told me the cutoff was 11.56 something and that was our scores songbird. Let's cross our fingers and say a prayer that we will be next for acceptance. :)

CyFair didn't ask us which clinical choice we wanted, right? Just wanted to make sure I had turned in all the correct paperwork due today. There were just 2 papers, right? I am assuming Kingwood had this additional paper because they start clinicals in Jan and we don't until summer?

kmbrlyw, Not sure how or why each college does something different. The paperwork enclosed with our acceptance letter had a section on the intent to enroll form to be completed with our choice for clinicals and lecture/lab. Okay I just pulled out my 'nursing folder' and there were three forms. The intent to enroll form, authorization to release educational records and the TOEFL examination information. We begin clinicals in January? I am so excited!

I will tammyw31. Best of luck to you as well. I'm not happy that either one of us are in this situation, but it is nice to have someone with me that knows what I'm going through too. :) We're gonna make it, I just feel it. Maybe we are just being taught patience.

I've been patient long enough lol....Just getting to this position has taken forever....it will all be worth it in the end though. I am also glad to know that you know what I am going through also. It makes it a little bit easier. Did you sign up for days or evenings? I signed up for days and clinicals I chose in order 1, 2, 3, 4. Maybe we will be able to be in the same lecture and clinicals. This way we will continue to support each other. God has a plan for us that is for sure. Oh by the way my name is Tammy.

I actually don't know, but you should contact *** ********* I'm sorry but I don't know her number. I bet you can find it on the lonestar web site. She is the counselor for the nursing program at montgomery. She will definatly be able to tell you if there is a procedure for that.
