Lone Star Spring 2011

Okay, for all of us that did not get into the Lone Star Fall 2010 program and are trying again for the Spring...here we go again.

I'm retaking AP2 this summer (I have a B so now I want an A) to increase my points. After that I just don't know what else to do because I have all co-reqs completed, CPR done and Immunizations done. What are your plans to increase your chances of getting in for the Spring?

Hello all and congrats on the acceptance letters. I am a newbie. I have applied to Kingwood with a score of 11.7392 and I hope to get the night/weekend program but will gladly accept either! I think my stomach acids have tripled in the last week due excitement and nervousness. I have been told to be confident with my score but I still want my letter! I always seem to attach a song to whatever is happening at the moment and right now I keep hearing the oldies song "Mr. Postman" LOL.........please please mr postman deliver the letter the sooner the better.

Thanks!! My score was the same as his; 11.826!! What are the odds. He put me on the "list" but under flamed something or other...nice name eh? lol

Yes, nice name. What exactly is he trying to say? lol Great score. Husband and wife RN's are popular where I work. You two are blessed to have one another that will understand the struggle of nursing school.

Emmy--we should pick different schedules and watch each others kids for free lol!!! I have a 17 month old and a 2 month old and have the same problem! Nevertheless we will def have to study together and let the kiddos play!!

Welcome and great score! You are sure to get in. Speaking of theme songs, the song I've been singing all this month was the one by Green Day "Wake me up when September ends" cuz I couldn't stand waiting for the letter LOL

Hi guys I have important information for CyFair students!

I went to drop off my signed letter to the nursing dept. and the woman gave me a packet of papers that you can find here Nursing Forms and told me that they are "trying" to get people to get these started early and have them completed when you come to orientation on Dec 2nd. She just said some people wait till the last minute to do these and it delays registration. So if you can get a jump on these forms, GREAT! :up:

Oh and background checks will be announced later.

MMMMM...That's a thought!! Depending on if we can find something, we may have to consider that as an option :)
