Lone Star Spring 2011

Okay, for all of us that did not get into the Lone Star Fall 2010 program and are trying again for the Spring...here we go again.

I'm retaking AP2 this summer (I have a B so now I want an A) to increase my points. After that I just don't know what else to do because I have all co-reqs completed, CPR done and Immunizations done. What are your plans to increase your chances of getting in for the Spring?

Just an FYI to all of those who applied to Kingwood. I just called and spoke to the Director of Nursing Asst. and she said that she thinks that they have all ready mailed them (the acceptance letters) and that if not they are due to go out this week.......Hope this helps!

The wait continues for us Kingwood hopefuls. When I spoke to the office on yesterday; I was told the letters would go out in two weeks. I see where someone posted that they were told " letters have already been mailed"...Well my mailbox was empty today.

I sure hope so. I called yesterday and was told by V, that the letters will be going out within the next two weeks. I want my letter now! lol I remember the mixed feelings I had about my acceptance into the lvn program. Excited and sad because I missed having a competitive score for the rn program by one point. I pray this works in my favor. Good luck lapwill.
