Lone Star Spring 2011

Okay, for all of us that did not get into the Lone Star Fall 2010 program and are trying again for the Spring...here we go again.

I'm retaking AP2 this summer (I have a B so now I want an A) to increase my points. After that I just don't know what else to do because I have all co-reqs completed, CPR done and Immunizations done. What are your plans to increase your chances of getting in for the Spring?

I'm in too! I was planning on opening my own letter but my daughter just called to say that "important letter" I was waiting for came so she went ahead and opened it and I got accepted. Hahahaha- I'll take an acceptance any way I can get it!

Congrats everyone! Remember this is just the first batch.....there are many more letters coming.

Congrats Amylulu! I have a feeling thats going to happen to me. I am about to leave on Thursday for Santa Fe and Taos NM. It takes a day or two extra to get my mail, so if I dont get it tomorrow I am going to have my boyfriend read it to me while Im in New Mexico. Hopefully it will be good news because if its not Im going to have one bad vacation lol!!!

What a great place to receive the good news though! I think it's so cool it seems like we have a really good shot at everybody on this board getting in. It will make school that much better :)

Hi I applied to Kingwood does anyone know when they are mailing those acceptance letters? And CONGRATS to all that got in to CYFAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I requested, but aren't we class of 2012 or did I miscalculate?

I wasn't sure. I probably miscalculated. I just added two years but I think we will graduate in December right?

I will change it. :p

It seems that Kingwood is mailing there letters in about 2 weeks.

Ooh! Thats a great idea. Once kingwood letters start rolling in, we need to start a group on FB as well. May be easier to stay connected and put faces to names of our fellow nursing students! :)
