From reading everyone that got into Lone Star nursing programs I hypothesized one very important point. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you get anything less than A's in English and A&P there is NO chance of admission.
The only instance I calculated a chance is a "B" in English, an "A" in A&P and a perfect 100% on the HESI. Other than that, A's in your classes with a minimum 88% on the exam is my observed formula for entrance.
I see why so many (myself included) get so worked up about the HESI. Anyone else taking the test next week at a Lone Star?
If anyone has taken A&P at a Lone Star over a summer session, how did you find attaining an A over the six-week period? Also, if anyone wants to part with a lab book...(?)

I am so anxious waiting as well. Looking at my email, even though i get direct notification to my phone. Sound can't go off without my heart pounding lol.
And now I'm even more nervous after reading that some of y'alls applications got in sorry deleted?! So nerve wracking!
So to bring peace of mind, I emailed valerie in hopes someone can confirm they have mind.
Looking at all these scores. Now I am very nervous?
My score is 7.53
A friend of mine got in with a 7.4ish 2 years ago and according to the department...their group was one of the largest to apply. So we will see. Here's to hoping we all make it in. ?
Im also enrolled in pharmacology. i believe the paperback is 300ish from the kw bookstore. but the eBook is 160. Attached is the link if anyone needs it.

If you’re taking pharmacology at Kingwood I caution you to ensure you purchase the correct bundle from the point. Find out from your professor which you need. Ask her for the link to the specific bundle because the bundle will come with the ebook and also prepU and vSim which are integral to passing the course. It makes no sense to just purchase the ebook.

Also, would you guys recommend taking A&P II & pharm in the same semester? Figured I can knock those classes out this fall before the program starts, not sure how I feel about taking those at the same time though lol.

I did micro and AP2 in spring. So AP2 and pharms can be done just lots of dedication and tears to get you through???. I’m serious on the tears but though. I had to let it flow half way through the summer semester.
If you want the grade you will work for it.

I would guess in the next week and a half. They usually go out 2-3 weeks after the app closes.
