Hey I’m currently doing the course and the book is available as an ebook with prepU. PrepU is where you will take the chapter quizzes and the simulations. I didn’t have to do simulations I guess it’s because I did pharm over the summer.

I have taken nutrition. I am currently at 50 credit hours, not including the ones for fall 2019 that are in question. When you say only 65 transfer, is that including the ones taken IN the program? like I'm at 50 now and will get potentially 7 this fall so 57 plus:
RNSG1309-3, RNSG1215-2, RNSG1144-1 (I have already taken AP1 and Psych)=6
RNSG1341-3, RNSG1261-2, RNSG2213-2, RNSG2162-1=8
RNSG1343-3, RNSG1362-3, RNSG2208-2, RNSG2161-1 (I have already taken Pharm and am registered for HUMA2319 but you say I need PHIL instead)=9
RNSG2207-2, RNSG2331-3, RNSG2560-5, RNSG2201-2, RNSG2160-1= 13
That puts me at 93... A bunch of my classes are apparently not even part of the ADN program here, they are needed for BSN so what now... please don't tell me I have wasted time and money on classes that won't transfer because I keep getting stupid advisers.
When I called a few of the universities they said that we had to have 60 hours and our ADN for acceptance so that is why I am eating up so many hours before the program starts (if I get in)

We have the exact same score and I feel the same way. I’m on nerves waiting for the email to come in.

Nothing you can do about it at this point. Just sit back and relax. I know we'll at least make alternate but that's not what I'm shooting for. Did you apply to Kingwood and CyFair?

I think yall will get in. I have been doing some research and it appears they have selected people at 7.5 in past years. I know its competitive and every year is different but in the grand scheme of things, that's a really good score.

I applied to Kingwood. If I don’t get in I’ll apply to North Harris next year.

December 2021
however, i went to an info session and it was stated that some persons may finish summer 2021. If you are a strong student and want to take classes in the summer then you can but it will be up to the professors to make that determination.
I would wait until orientation to ask that question because they may have changed their policy
If you have your own health insurance then I don’t think you need to get the student insurance but if you don’t then you would need to get it.
We all have to pay for Liability Insurance as that’s needed for clinicals.

Ok that's what I thought but just wanted to confirm! What campus info session did you hear that at? That would be amazing. I need to get working asap bc childcare and the student insurance plan is costing a fortune. Unfortunately I'll have to get it since I'm getting kicked off my parents plan lol.

I went to the Kingwood info session. Like I said it’s up to the professor. The lady leading the session said she would only approve students who were not struggling and who she knew could handle the short summer semester.
Sorry for not stating the professor’s name. But if you’ve been to any KW info session then you know who I’m talking about.

Do you know if the required textbook online is that one we truly need? I emailed the professor a week ago and have not heard back. I don't want to buy a book that we really don't need. TIA
