Loma Linda new grad RN Summer 2020

Anyone apply to the RN new grad program at Loma Linda University medical center for this Summer?

I haven't seen any posts on here about it so was wondering if anyone has any information on if anything will be delayed due to the pandemic, or if anyone has heard anything back from them about their application.

Also what units did you guys apply to!?

@scrubs521 I have not! Really hoping this week we’ll get a call by chance!

Has anyone heard anything? The wait/anticipation is killing me. I rather get my rejection letter, so I can just move on already LOL.

@ellz I interviewed for the BMC on Thursday and got a verbal offer on Friday. There is still time, stay positive. Best of luck!

@ellz Thank you! Yeah, it all happened really fast. I got a call around 7pm on Wednesday to set up the interview and it caught me off guard. The person who interviewed me said that covid is really messing up the hiring process, and they are still trying to adapt with the previous cohort. I think the last day they have to give offers is on the 15th.

Thank you for the info. Do you know how many people the hired for your unit?

Sorry, I didn't ask that question so I'm not too sure. They did tell me that the previous cohort had about 50 new grads. I don't know if they are looking to hire around the same amount in this cohort.

The number is on the new grad residency page. They were super helpful and nice when I called awhile back. I haven’t heard anything either, but according to the site they have until May 15 to extend offers, so there’s still hope.

Hey guys, just spoke to the recruiter in charge of the Adult residency program and he said that yesterday all departments were told to hold off on extending offers until the week of 5/18 ? Fingers crossed we are still in the running.

Just called HR, used the number from the residency page. I asked what is the status regarding offers for the new grad program and he had told me to check my jobpage on the site for an update if we were selected or not! He said that it would be updated in a few days sometime this week. Hope this helps! I feel like we’re all hearing different things.
