Loma Linda new grad RN Summer 2020

Anyone apply to the RN new grad program at Loma Linda University medical center for this Summer?

I haven't seen any posts on here about it so was wondering if anyone has any information on if anything will be delayed due to the pandemic, or if anyone has heard anything back from them about their application.

Also what units did you guys apply to!?

Hi all! I interviewed on the 17th for Neuro Trauma. They said they will notify me by the 24th. Got a call yesterday saying candidates will now be notified about their status on May 11 instead, because the program manager doesn't want to send out rejections or offers yet. Anyone else get this call?

I didn't get a call but when I interviewed on the 22nd they told me it would be 2 weeks as well.

I didn't get the call (interviewed with Medical ICU) but was also told something similar, that I would hear back in May because their current NG cohort was on a new schedule and that COVID was affecting the timeline.

Thanks! That makes sense. LOL I initially assumed they already chose their candidate, and have not sent out rejections yet because they are waiting for the background checks for their chosen candidate or something.

Does anyone know if they send out reference checks? I know with other programs, they send out references right after the interview.

I received a verbal offer last week and they didn't send out reference checks.

I got the offer for oncology and it was a few days after I interviewed!

thats so awesome! I’m assuming they’re going to send out offer letters at the same time for all units. But in the mean time verbal offers will be given .
