Loma Linda new grad RN Summer 2020

Anyone apply to the RN new grad program at Loma Linda University medical center for this Summer?

I haven't seen any posts on here about it so was wondering if anyone has any information on if anything will be delayed due to the pandemic, or if anyone has heard anything back from them about their application.

Also what units did you guys apply to!?

Hi! I applied! My app was updated on 3/16 that it was sent to the hiring manager. Other than that, I'm not sure if they are delaying the process.

Hey guys! I applied as well. I called yesterday to inquire about the status of our applications (mine was sent to hiring manager on 3/19). She said that HR has until the end of this week to go through applications, and then hiring managers have another 2 weeks to go through applications after that. But that interviews should start rolling out in 2-3 weeks or so. She said the new grad residency will not be delayed because of Covid, which is great. Interviews might be all virtual though.

I am slightly worried about being able to sign up to take the NCLEX by June 12 though, which is their deadline, since Pearson Vue is backed up due to closures because of Covid....but I'll guess I'll wait to worry about that until later.

Oh, I applied to CTICU and SICU!

Thanks for the update! Are you graduating in May? I graduated in December and it took me about a month after I graduated to receive my ATT since my school didn't send our transcripts until after Winter break. I know people who had to reschedule their exams due to covid have been checking pearsons vue everyday to see what random dates pop up to take it earlier since some had to change their exam from March to June.

Yes, I graduate May 1. Fingers crossed my school is on top of sending out transcripts.

I had mine yesterday, I think it went good! There was 4 people in the zoom call and were all friendly! They said I would hear back within a week.

hi everyone! My interview is next week for ICU, super nervous. Can I ask you @goofy_BSN if they asked behavioral or clinical questions or both?
