Live Chat - Why dont we use it??

I personally enjoy live chat and was wondering if anyone ever facilitated that feature of allnurses.com. I've been in there a few times and it seems no one is ever there. I think more people would visit that feature if it was somehow emphasized and advertised. Maybe people just do not realize it is there. I would really enjoy talking with other nursing professionals in a live chat format and think that others feel the same way.

There are some there occasionally,, sometimes there is no one. I think evening hours seem to see more action in the chat room.

If you want to make a 'chat date' with a mod present....(moderators and admin here, on the boards have the same mod/admin status in the chat-- so if anything gets ugly, we can intervene.)

ok, my schedule is kinda skewed, but, tonight, I should be around and I will sit in the chat room from about 1am est to 2am est, (which will incidently be when I'm off work...) which I think ends up being late evening on the west coast (I'm a very east coast baby) and, I think for our overseas patrons, it should be varying times during the day and whatnot...

ok, is anyone willing to brave the evening for me?

Lets start chatting today. So we can talk about nursing and all that good stuff. We can motivate each other and communicate better. That chat room is just sitting there. I'll be there now until 2pm tonight, eastern time.

Actually we have had some good evenings in chat. Its just catching people in there.

Sometimes it isnt nursing we chat about. Sometimes its just to unwind or chill out.
