Linfield Spring 2021 Cohort

Hi y'all, I haven't seen a post on the Linfield 2021 Cohort application so I thought I'd go ahead and create one. I am kind of nervous about this application because I have a little bit of experience (about 3 weeks) working as a caregiver and I have not completed all the prerequisites (I have one Chemistry class in progress which I am taking this Summer term). Here's my stats so far: 4.0 A&P series, 4.0 science lab courses (Microbiology, A&P series, nutrition, Chemistry/biology), no volunteering experience and 2 references from professors. I am kind of scared that I would not get selected about of these reasons... would you guys mind sharing y'all stats also?

That was the impression I got. I called them last week to make sure I had the date correct which online is the 1st and the person I spoke with said yes. I know in the past it's been earlier but I kind of think it'll be on time this time or like a few days early but COVID is likely slowing them down because of the cuts the school made to staffing.

I think they're still aiming for Oct 1. I just called and asked, and I saw in past cohorts if they did send them earlier the school was up front about it. However they did say today that Oct 1 is the projected date still. So looks like we're all stuck waiting unless something changes

Ahhh thank you! I was just going to call! I think the 1st wouldn’t seem as bad to wait if all the other cohorts hadn’t heard earlier.

No problem! And I totally agree, had I not known earlier was an option for anyone I would've accepted the 1st, but seeing other cohorts getting decisions by this point just makes me want to know.

Anything new yet? It’s almost the 1st!

Not yet, I keep hoping it'll be here early but it seems that it's not happening till the 1st. I am thankful they send an email with the decision not just the physical letter.

Yea I feel like a physical letter would take even longer! Not so sure about this, but I think they might accept more students now because they bought a new campus.

I had a similar thought about the higher acceptance but we will see.

I called this morning and they said we would have an email notification tomorrow. They don't have a specific time and only said sometime before midnight. Good luck everyone!

You mean before tomorrow’s midnight or today’s midnight because 12AM is basically a new day..
