Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!
I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!
Hey everyone, I seem to be a little late to the game. I only just found this page. I was wondering if anyone else has more courses on blackboard? Currently I only have 301 and 330 (pharmacology).
Hello and Welcome!
So far I also have 301 & I have 269 available( I'm also taking that this semester because it's a pre req for a class next semester and I didnt want to pay out of pocket during the Winter).
Also I see you are accelerated because you are taking Pharmacology. Congrats and good luck on that.

For Microbiology: What helped me a lot was do go over all her slides. Know it inside and out. And also learn to apply what you learn. Do all the Mastering micro questions and do all the questions she hands out. Go over the study guides. You don't need to read the textbook. It is only for clarification or something you don't understand. Stick to the powerpoint slides and do all the review questions she gives. You'll end up with a very good grade.
Hesi: For A&P- use the HESI book and also the pocketprep app that everyone is talking about. Make sure you understand the rationale behind each question when you do the questions. Even if you get it right, go over the questions several times.
Hope this helps :)
thank you DG82...very helpful information. I am wondering if you had any difficulties seeing NURS 344 in your blackboard...or anyone else in this forum..... I seem to have everything in place (in terms of my classes but do NOT see NURS 344 (though I paid for it).
I do not think that class is up yet on blackboard.

Question... in the Week 1 overview it mentions Chapters 2,3,4,5,6,7,20,22, and 31. On the other hand in the Week 1 overview for clinicals there are documents she said to "please print" that are from different chapters not mentioned in the lecture overview. I'm confused....
