Lehman College 2018 Fall Generic BSN/ABSN applicants!

Published

Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!

I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!

yep..pretty much just show up with an ID and we should be in their system as nursing students from lehman...she states that she is working on finding out the fingerprinting price but if we go before she finds out.... to ask them about it. No orientation reported!

Thank you! Also, do you know if we have to go to the hospital on grand concourse or fulton avenue? I know someone who works in the grand concourse location and she said she had to go to the fulton ave location for fingerprinting and ID

she was kinda unsure but states that we should check the "fulton location first."

But our actual clinical site is the grand concourse location? This is all so confusing

Thank you

i think so ...im also unsure of it...

Since she is so unsure, I think you guys should either call the Chair Personel. (MODERATOR EDIT OF IDENTIFYING INITIALS) And hopefully she can either provide more information and make her assistant get the proper information to send it to everyone.

Thank you, I guess I'll have to do that. I just hope she figures out the registration thing soon because as of now everyone in my clinical group isn't registered for NUR 301

Yea, that's crazy. For her to be doing this for so long, she should be more organized and know what exactly students need to do. As long as you handed everything in and you have your classes, I think the Professor for 301 will have more information as well.

I got dropped out of NUR301 "at no fault of my own" according to financial aid. Now I cant do the prework. No one answers the phone in the nursing department. SMH...

Hey, guys! I know so many of you are experiencing problems with registration, and paperwork. Did any of you have your hospital orientations yet? My first hospital clinical is exactly in 2 weeks and I am freaking out. I mean, I and my clinical group are supposed to have a 2-day orientation with the fingerprinting! When in hell are we supposed to do that now that the school is about to start? I am just so pissed, because there is so much to read, practice, and complete that every open day will be used up to study.....:banghead:

I haven't heard a thing about my classes or about clinicals from the nursing department. I registered for my classes myself. I havent even heard about any paperwork or anything that needs to be completed for clinicals. It is all so frustrating and you can't get in touch with anyone.
