Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!
I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!
I got dropped out of NUR301 "at no fault of my own" according to financial aid. Now I cant do the prework. No one answers the phone in the nursing department. SMH...
I don't think they're open on Fridays. You'll probably still be in the same class section so maybe you can email the professor and tell her to manually add you onto blackboard again until you're able to speak to someone from the nursing department
I haven't heard a thing about my classes or about clinicals from the nursing department. I registered for my classes myself. I havent even heard about any paperwork or anything that needs to be completed for clinicals. It is all so frustrating and you can't get in touch with anyone.
This is insane. Sometimes I wonder what they do in there. They should have a designated person to answer the phone calls, and then direct them. Every time I come to the office it is like a ghost town (maybe because it is summer). In any event, I hope everything works out for the best ;-)
Has anyone signed up for the shadow health online? What section are we suppose to choose?
Also, when you create an account, there will be a drop down menu with all the section numbers and names of the clinical instructors. So, if you know the name of your clinical instructor, you know which section to choose.

I haven't heard of any orientation for the hospital as of yet. My clinical day is originally Thursday. I handed everything in but have no more answers than anyone else. Last thing that was told to me by the person who is in charge of all was, you will be updated by your lecture professor of anything else is needed. So at this point it's a waiting game. I agree with all this reading, etc. but unfortunately we have to tough this out and be supportive to one another. We can get through this and help each other out.
