Hey all!!! Has anyone else been contacted for a pre-screening interview for the Summer 2014 Versant program at Legacy? I don't like in Portland, but I just received the phone call to schedule mine and I was wondering how others were preparing and how the process was going for other people. Thanks! And good luck to you all!!!

SaintSunny I think your interview was today. I hope it went well!! Any tips or wisdom for the rest of us?

I have sort of came to a sad conclusion that it may not happen this time. I have been waiting for that "Vancouver" number on my caller ID op-up, but to no avail. Thankfully I will be taking an adult ICU, not a Neo ICU position I was hoping for to begin with. I would gladly make the move down south to sart there, but I guess we wil have to wait one more week. These teaser emails about references are killing me also.

I am wondering for those who have had interviews, is your RN license already active?? I take my NCLEX on the 8th of this month and then it would take a couple more weeks after that. I am wondering if that is the major reason for not getting a call...

Thoughts?

I know some that got calls back did not have active licenses yet. I have come to the same conclusion as well, it's a bummer but if I don't get an acute care job outside of this I will apply for the next round.

I am debating just staying at my ER job as a Tech and waiting for a perfect residency position to come around. I would hate to get stuck in some position that I am not passionate about.

I am a licensed RN(have been for a year) and will be finishing my BSN soon. However, i do know people who have not taken their boards and continued on to the second interview. But please don't let that discourage you. Keep that hope and I know you will get your dream position very soon. Best of luck to you!

Thanks for the cheers. I have my BSN now, but take mt boards next week. So I guess we will have to wait one more week for that phone call... Come on Vancouver, light my phone up please

Just had my final interview for women's services at Salmon Creek today. Sounds like they're interviewing 25 people for 2 positions, so it's still pretty competitive! HR will call/e-mail decisions during the week of July 14

I wonder if ER or trauma was even taking new grads this round? Sounds like no one has heard from these units.
