Hey all!!! Has anyone else been contacted for a pre-screening interview for the Summer 2014 Versant program at Legacy? I don't like in Portland, but I just received the phone call to schedule mine and I was wondering how others were preparing and how the process was going for other people. Thanks! And good luck to you all!!!

I have also been contacted for a pre-screening interview, but live in the Portland-Metro area so I will be interviewing in person on June 12th.

Well I am OOS and had my pre-screen interview with the manager from Salmon Creek Women & Children's services.
I am wondering if the local people know how many people are interviewing for this. There were 108 on the email list for OOS people. By reading the previos cohorts posts, it seems like anywhere from 3-500 people are interviewed. One cohort had 60 while another had 30. She also told me that if you move on from the preliminary, then you were put in another grouping and then scored upon your GPA, experience and with how well you interviewed. The top 25% move on from there to the next round of interviews.
Good Luck ya'll

There were about 420 people on the prescreening interview email for local applicants. Thanks for the information on the factors that determine who moves forward - I'm sure the competition is pretty stiff for these positions, depending on the specialty chosen.

Yes, JLoya, thank you for the info! I had my out of state interview this evening. Anxious like you all to hear whether I will be moving on to the next round or not. Hopefully our section will have a higher number of slots to be filled! Best of luck everyone!!!
What was everyone's first choices if you don't mind sharing?
My first choice was NICU (neonatal), but I also stated I was interested in ER as well since I have 12 years of ER Tech/EMT experience, 5 of which are in the local Level One Trauma/Burn Center in Seattle.
My first choice is ICU. I think I put trauma as second if I remember right....although this did not come up in my phone interview oddly enough.
My first was ICU, too. The interviews are only with your first choice managers, I don't know how heavily the other choices are considered in the process.

My first was ICU too! The critical care section seemed very popular! I will be at the pre-screening interview on June 12th too. Not sure if I will be selected for the next round because I only have an ADN versus a BSN, and due to the vast amount of interviewers, but we will see how it goes! Good luck to everyone!
Anyone been contacted for a second interview yet by chance?
Most people haven't had their initial interview yet - hundreds of people are interviewing this week, on June 12th.
