Hey all!!! Has anyone else been contacted for a pre-screening interview for the Summer 2014 Versant program at Legacy? I don't like in Portland, but I just received the phone call to schedule mine and I was wondering how others were preparing and how the process was going for other people. Thanks! And good luck to you all!!!
This is from the email sent on the 13th...
"If you are selected to participate in a final interview you will be contacted directly to schedule a date and time for this appointment. We anticipate that final interviews will take place throughout June until mid July, based on manager availability. If you are not selected for a final interview you will receive notification via email by the second week of July."
Additionally: Final Interviews June 18th-July 10th.
The way it was broken down for me from the person that I interviewed was this:
Initial interview, from there they choose who they recommend to move to the second round (final interview). From those that they select to move on, which is about half of the total number of people, they are then scored according to several factors. GPA, experience and how well they answered there questions. The top 25% of the total candidates are then asked for final interviews.
Hope that helps. I wrote this down as I spoke to my interviewer.
Cheers and Good Luck
Waiting game, commence....
Hi all! I received this e-mail a few minutes ago...
"Hello.
We are excited to inform you of your continued candidacy for the Legacy Health Versant RN Residency Program! Hiring managers will contact candidates for the final round of interviews beginning Monday, June 23, 2014. Final interviews will be scheduled to take place between June 23 and July 10th.
This notification does not signify a guaranteed final interview. Hiring managers will evaluate all application and pre-screen interview information. Although you are among the finalists for this program, managers will use the application and pre-screen interview information to determine whom to invite for unit based interviews. If you are selected to participate, a manager or member of the interviewing unit, will contact you between the dates of June 23 and July 9...."
Woo, not out yet! Looking forward to hear from everyone else!

My interviewer talk about that there is a point system and the initial interview only counts for part of the score. There are many factors that go into getting the second interview, so far no word from anyone that I know hearing anything about a second interview yet.
