Hey all!!! Has anyone else been contacted for a pre-screening interview for the Summer 2014 Versant program at Legacy? I don't like in Portland, but I just received the phone call to schedule mine and I was wondering how others were preparing and how the process was going for other people. Thanks! And good luck to you all!!!
I've already had my pre-screening phone interview since I'm out of state. My first choice is peri-operative and I have no idea how many people have chosen that speciality as well. The woman who did my phone interview was from HR and said that I should hear from a nursing recruiter the week of June 16th if I have been selected for another interview. If I don't get an email from her then no news is good news!
I also had a pre-screen interview a few weeks ago, on the 21st on May. :) I was interviewed by the manager from Randall Children's ED (my top choices were PICU/Peds and ICU). I thought it went well! But yeah, this program is going to be very competitive, just based on the sheer amount of OOS names I saw on the e-mail list. Good luck to everyone! I'm not expecting much for myself, but it never hurts to be optimistic!
So it looks like about 600 people will be interviewed in total this year. I know last summer there where about 60 chosen. I am an ADN with a previous degree in Microbiology and was wondering how many of you are BSN's? I am working on getting into a school but with current finances I had to give up my spot. I have been working for the past 5 months as a school nurse but really don't think this is the experience they are looking for (more charting then care).
At the interviews she stated we would get a mass email sometime this week. I wonder if that is for people who didn't get the second interview and for people who did or just if you didn't.
I also thought people would get calls before the 18th. Hopefully we will know either way soon.
When you get a call or email start posting.
The interview is just a piece of the puzzle. The proctors of the interview write comments and evaluate how you answered question then put that information into your file. All jiggering managers in any department then have access to your file and request an interview. It might be awhile before we get an email confirming if we do or don't have an interview because of the amount of applicants. Trust that your hard work and passion will get you the job where you are meant to be. If not this job it will be a different one.

I was just wondering for those that have interviewed already. In past forum discussions for this program they had offered second interviews with other people still interviewing. Thanks though SaintSunny.
