Hey all!!! Has anyone else been contacted for a pre-screening interview for the Summer 2014 Versant program at Legacy? I don't like in Portland, but I just received the phone call to schedule mine and I was wondering how others were preparing and how the process was going for other people. Thanks! And good luck to you all!!!

The waiting between steps has got to be the worst part of this process lol!!

Seriously! I'm trying to relax about it but it's constantly at the back of my mind...

Just got the call for the final interview for the ER!:D Don't lose hope guys, they're still making calls!

P.S. Does anyone know if the second interview consists of behavioral q's or clinical q's, or both? Trying to prep as much as I can!

I was asked both types of questions. Generic interview questions were asked and behavior-maybe 4 total? The interview lasted 30 minutes and there were three people present, the nurse manager and two charge nurses. Your going to do great!!!!!

ICU84: Thank you so much, appreciate it! So, no scenerio q's then (If a pt came in w/ x and y symptoms, what would you do...etc)?

I just received a voicemail to schedule an interview for the ER. I work the night shift, so I was snoring away at the time and wasn't able to reach the recruiter before the office closed. It's surprising because a few weeks ago, I received a "thanks, but no thanks" email.

nope, no clinical scenario questions, just things like tell me about a time you had a difficult or upset patient, how did you handle the situation and what was the outcome. Where do you are yourself in 5 years. How have you handled a difficult doctor in the past.

I have a great PowerPoint with practice scenario questions and all the questions they asked me were on it....do you know if I can post a document on this forum?

I've had two second interviews for telemetry units so far. They were both very different, so I think it depends on the style of the units that are interviewing you. The first one I had was very formal, with the nursing manager and 4 nurses from the unit. They had a list of behavioral type questions and took notes on a chart that was in front of them. The second unit was much different. It was with a nursing manager and nursing supervisor and they just asked questions as they thought of them and took notes on the back of my resume. I just received the reference check email today. Good luck everyone!

Im not sure about posting a document but that would be awesome if you could! Thank you for the input anyways! It's really helped me organize my thoughts.
