Hello! I am starting this topic so we, who applied to LATTC, can keep each other informed. I have applied July 2 2018, and so far I have not started the program. When I went to go check where I was at on the waitlist, it looks like they only got to those who applied April/May 2018 for the cohort Fall 2020. That being said I believe I will be starting Spring 2021. Please comment any information you may have or when you applied ?

You should schedule a meeting with a counselor (health science counselor). However, not with the individual who takes out applications. She gets extremely busy (cant mention her name, starts with A). They have other counselors who can give you approximate answers. I have been told that LATTC is one of the schools in LA District that is really being impacted with COVID and gettting approval for clinical sites. So its not the school just unfortunately circumstances with the nation. Maybe after elections, things will go to a new normal and once the COVID situation is figured out.

If you don’t like it, then you can go somewhere else. Since you are talking about being a lawyer, then go ahead and do that. But if you are only going into nursing for the “paycheck” then you shouldn’t be doing nursing at all.... just go be lawyer if you are all about the money. People here are looking for positivity and hanging on while we wait our turn to enter the program and all you are doing is being negative. So please take your negativity somewhere else. Thanks
@Cal_ER I agree with the what your saying completely about being negative. Positive attitude at the end of the day will make the waiting process easier, but considering her circumstances, she is definitely frustrated and everyone handles things differently. Maybe she needs to vent bc most people around us unless they work in the medical field will not understand or have been through this process. A little encouragement is always helpful, especially if any of us start together, we are going to need to encourage each other that much more because my friend who is in the program currently says its intense. We all including myself, all have a choice to just scroll up instead of replying to something we do not agree with. Hope you have a good day ?
