  1. 2-3 years for sure. Work work work and save up so you don’t have to work in while going to schools. I should have done that. I’m currently in the program and have to work. I wish I saved
  2. Hey! Right now, vaccines are mandated to do clinical rotations. We have some students sitting out the semester due to not being fully vaccinated per clinicals site mandated policy. Can it change? …. Maybe ….. but as of right now it is mandated. Again it is mandated per the hospital that we are doing clinical sites at, we are guest in their hospital so if we can’t meet their request, then we have to sit out for clinical thus sitting out for semester. Hope this helps!
  3. They really want all black.
  4. When I took the class, I made sure that read every chapter from the “potter and Perry” text book that was assigned. The other books kinda repeat the same information but in a more condensed version. I never divided the reading because I was always worried that someone else would miss important information. For sure it’s ALOT, which is why time management is key, but it is doable.
  5. It is hard in the sense that it’s a lot of information given in such a short period of time, my advice to you is that, you must have your time management down! The only points you will get in this class is just the midterm and final, that’s it, so EVERY POINT COUNTS! This class is the intro to nursing, you will do fundamentals durning your first semester
  6. For those that got accepted, how many weeks is your RN 169 class?
  7. Natural color hair. If you have long hair, it must be in a bun at all times. Facial hair must be neat. No artificial nails, has to be natural, nothing on them.
  8. Yes they are strict with Hair and nails
  9. Yes when you get accepted you’ll have to do a physical and get titers done. It will all be in your acceptance package that is sent via email.
  10. Diamond when did you apply?
  11. Let’s just say this class is a 3.5 unit class in 4 weeks. All you are going to have is a midterm and a final. Just like every other nursing program, you have to get a 75% or above in each class in nursing school. Anything below a 75% you technically fail the class. I currently work 1-2 days a week. Schedule can vary depending on the teacher you get. For example I have class 3 days a week weather it be sims, clinical, or lecture. No class on Saturday or Sunday, but that can change. Honestly it’s all about your time management skills. It is a lot of material to read. During this first class you will learn what kind of learner you are. Although the pressure was on during this first class (because you Can literally get dropped from the program if you don’t pass) it really taught me to prepare for first semester. Let me tell you, the way I took notes and studied during my pre-reqs IS NOT the same way I study for nursing and you will find that out LOL. But first semester is Doable but you gotta put your effort in it too. You can’t expect and A if you don’t put in the effort. I hope this helps!!
  12. Hey guys! I started the program this Spring 2021. Sorry we all went MIA on the other thread, but the second we started we got swamped with all this work and things we needed to do before we started the semester! If you get accepted into fall 2021, be prepared to take a 4 week class, intro to nursing before you actually start Fall 2021. So for us we took this class in “Winter session” before we started Spring 2021. So if you start fall 2021, be prepared to take it Summer session. The thing is .... YOU MUST PASS THIS CLASS! If you don’t you won’t be able to start 1st semester and get dropped from the program. If you get accepted, BE READY to make nursing school your all! As long as you have amazing time management skills, you will be just fine ?
  13. We don’t know...
  14. OMG ?? I wouldn’t know what happens, they still haven’t reached out to us if we are going to start or not
