LATTC FALL 2020/Spring 2021

Hello! I am starting this topic so we, who applied to LATTC, can keep each other informed. I have applied July 2 2018, and so far I have not started the program. When I went to go check where I was at on the waitlist, it looks like they only got to those who applied April/May 2018 for the cohort Fall 2020. That being said I believe I will be starting Spring 2021. Please comment any information you may have or when you applied ?

hello, 

I read from the face book CA nursing group that they are still waiting on the department of health to give them a go ahead. Someone said they'll hear from them in December and the reason why they don't want to start a new cohort is because the hospitals don't allow nursing students. So maybe you guys might hear from them late as well. 

Am also seeing some Ca universities sending acceptance letters for Spring 2021, so hopefully, they'll allow community colleges to have cohorts too. 

please be patient guys... Almost there!

Haven't heard anything either. She said by the end of October they'll email us, but I wouldn't be surprised if that were to be pushed back. Waiting sucks but there's no point in bringing others down, so let's all try to help each other out with new information and cut the negativity. What a waste.

I agree I am just besides myself though.  I scheduled a meeting today, hopefully someone shows up and I have sent and checked both mailboxes and nothing.

Hey everyone! 

I haven't been in this group much but decided to share that I received an email from the program. It stated that I am scheduled to receive an acceptance letter for 2021. However, before acceptance letters are distributed, the program needs to first receive permission to begin in the Spring. It noted that it was not the official acceptance letter. 

It didn't say when they expect to receive permission, simply that they would keep us posted.

Just received an email with the survey link attached. They basically said IF they do push through for 2021, that it would be in January and that we would be receiving our acceptance letters soon.

The fact that we were able to now fill a survey, stating we accept our seat, is definitely a step in the right direction ? So exciting but you’re right, they are still pending approval

"You are scheduled to receive an Acceptance Letter for the Spring 2021....."

What application dates are being accepted? When did you apply. I applied July 2019 wondering what term am I looking towards to. Thank you
