LATTC FALL 2020/Spring 2021

Hello! I am starting this topic so we, who applied to LATTC, can keep each other informed. I have applied July 2 2018, and so far I have not started the program. When I went to go check where I was at on the waitlist, it looks like they only got to those who applied April/May 2018 for the cohort Fall 2020. That being said I believe I will be starting Spring 2021. Please comment any information you may have or when you applied ?

Same here! I applied late September 2018 and still nothing.

I was in the meeting too and I never hear that fall 2020 was postponed. I hear that they are doing everything they can to keep goin with the program and they would know for sure on November what is going to happen with Spring 2021. So let’s wait until November what other option we have?.

If fall 2020 was postponed, then..... why are they pulling names out of the waiting list for Spring 2021? Makes no sense. Wouldn’t fall 2020 then just start Spring 2021 then?

Hi everyone I started the program at LATTC Fall 2020 cohort we are currently in the middle of the semester we go into school for clinicals once a week for 8hrs and all other lectures are on zoom and ATI Skills lab. We will not be going into the hospital until the Spring 2021 if its approved. Hope this answers your questions.

That's what ------------------- told me. It doesn't make sense to me either. If you have questions you can email them or attend a session. I am just relaying what they said.

Because I asked ---------------- in the chat, it was a private message. I asked ------------------ in an email a few weeks ago and she did not address my question. That is the reason I attended the session.

@Sjussab 26 Thank you so much for this information. This was in so many ways helpful. 

Ladies, please let's continue to be patient. Don't forget to update and check your email ( personal and student), address, and phone number cause they tried reaching some people but couldn't get them. That's the issue my friend had, I had to let him know they started calling people and when he reached out, they told him they have been trying to call him. I am sure they will get to everyone. the wait is ridiculous but that's what we signed up for, I mean if we had an option we will not be waiting right. 

I knew with COVID everything will be slow but they're also trying. Maybe they stopped at early September but when the new cohort starts, you guys will be the first ones they'll call.

Okay guys I think some of us are not all at the same page . Some of us are confused because , like myself I applied Sept 2018 exactly on Sept 6 when I received an email from Nursing stating everything was complete all I can do now it’s wait. It’s not being ungrateful.  I am just saying doesn’t make sense that some students here said they received notifications that they are going to start the next cohort whenever that is . And they applied in September  2018 and now someone else said they on waiting list of October 2018?! I emailed “A” last week and  got a response right away from “A” and she confirmed I was still on waiting list and that’s it . If they were trying to reach me or I was next why didn’t she say that ? Why are some students here saying other info? So I was skipped ? Of course I’m gonna worry it’s been 2 years . I feel like all this information is all over the place

LATTC said to wait until November. And I emailed last week ELAC too because I applied on May 2018 and M said that next month I will be hearing from them. Let’s hope that is true because I feel like elac is a little disorganized.

Hi guys. Today on my way back from work I saw a group of students wearing white scrubs walking by lattc. Do anyone of you know if nursing classes already resumed? I wanted to ask them but couldn’t stop traffic LOL.
