LATTC FALL 2020/Spring 2021

Hello! I am starting this topic so we, who applied to LATTC, can keep each other informed. I have applied July 2 2018, and so far I have not started the program. When I went to go check where I was at on the waitlist, it looks like they only got to those who applied April/May 2018 for the cohort Fall 2020. That being said I believe I will be starting Spring 2021. Please comment any information you may have or when you applied ?

Hello loves, I applied September 2020 LMAO! I know I am years away hahaha! But just trying to locate anyone who applied around the same time as me so we can keep in contact! And congrats to all who've entered the program!

So I just got an email and although I submitted everything by Sept 10th of 2018 . I was just told that I still have to wait 1-2 semesters more !! I’m heart broken ?. She said due to covid that’s all the info she can give me right now . So I’m not sure why other people that applied in Sept like me have gotten accepted ?

That’s the same email I got last week before everyone started posting that they’ve been accepted. I’m confused. I submitted about the same week you did. I don’t know what’s going on?

I applied August 2019 so definitely longer wait for me but I’m following this account. 
I applied to LAVC and LACC for Spring 2021 and one of those said they might not have a cohort depending on CDC regulations. 
not seems like everything is up in the air.

That is INSANE! That's an entire year you could be working as a nurse! Are you applying to other programs? APPLY to all! Most of them still have a lottery! I applied to about 8 schools, I get an answer at the end of this year. Trust me, even if you do not have a high point system still apply! You have a chance of getting in.

When I applied ---------------------- told me the wait is now 3 years long (they used to say 2 years). That could only be my application date, but from what  I am seeing on this thread is a 3 year wait time for all of us. It feels good to know I am on the waitlist but I can't just sit around for 3 years, I am applying to every school possible. Also, it's a good time to apply because most schools are accepting unofficial transcripts so I am definitely saving some money!

I applied to LAVC too hun! Which said they weren't having a cohort?? I do not believe LAVC said that but can you confirm?

LACC they even mentioned they might only take 20 students instead of the usual 40. 
so I’m hopeful for LAVC

I’m curious to know how many people here on this thread are September 2018 applicants and got notifications that are accepted...

I received an email today as well from the counselor. 
“Due to the current pandemic, we aren't sure when we will be starting a new cohort. I can only estimate your wait time to be extended another 1- 2 semesters.“ 

Even though I was previously told I might start Spring 2021 last email. Now it will be an extra 1-2 semesters. I am so confused.
