LATTC FALL 2020/Spring 2021

Hello! I am starting this topic so we, who applied to LATTC, can keep each other informed. I have applied July 2 2018, and so far I have not started the program. When I went to go check where I was at on the waitlist, it looks like they only got to those who applied April/May 2018 for the cohort Fall 2020. That being said I believe I will be starting Spring 2021. Please comment any information you may have or when you applied ?

Hey guys, I applied nov 2018 and according to “A” I’m still on the waitlist. Last I emailed her she said that if they got approved they would be admitting people who applied in June-September 2018.

Did you attend the zoom meeting they had about going through with Spring 2021?

No but I kept on emailing “A” and all she replied to me was that they were waiting to see if they were going to start Spring 2021. But that was like in October. I even asked how far I was in the waitlist and she didn’t say anything.

Yeah I actually emailed her this morning too asking where I was at on the list. I applied March 2019. When I first applied she told me to check in with her by email December 2020 to see where I’m at on the waitlist. But it seems like they haven’t even reached September of 2018.

Hey guys, I applied in March 2019 hoping to get in by Spring 2021 but it's looking more like Fall 2021 or Spring 2022. I had also applied at ELCA in May 2019 but with their new point system, I did not make the mark. It really sucks that schools have adopted this point system that leaves out people like myself who try their hardest but just can't seem to get that 4.0 GPA. I truly hope Trade Tech keeps its system first come first serve. Fingers cross.

You’re right, I hope they don’t change. They’re the only sch that still maintains the waitlist process. It’s a long wait but you’re guaranteed a spot. I pray we’re in the same cohort, I applied April 2019 and she told me I’ll start Spring 2022.. I’m praying I only have one more semester to wait?
