Last semester advice/experience??

Published

I'm starting my last semester on January 12! :-) eek!!! I'll be taking adult 3 and pediatrics. I've been told this was an easier semester but I'm not so sure...(although 3rd semester was a beast!!!) I didn't really enjoy OB for some reason so I'm a little concerned about pediatrics...how was last semester for anyone here? Any insight is greatly appreciated :) I'm almost there!!!! :D

All of our last semesters are different from one another, so bear that in mind. Our final semester was community health, leadership, and preceptorship. Between all of those clinicals, time was even more crunched than ever.

Peds and OB are very different from one another, unless you somehow do peds in a NICU. Don't let your impression of OB skew how you feel about peds! :)

Thanks for your advice :) maybe I'll enjoy peds....definitely makes for a better semester when you enjoy what you're studying....OB was definitely not my forte...lol

I have both Peds and OB this semester and I'm not looking forward to it.... and on top of that community health... This is my 4th semester (out of 5) and they just get busier and more hectic each semester.... :)

Hang in there.

UGH I hated community..... and OB. Well, hate is a strong word, but not really. We have medsurg III, leadership, and peds in our last semester starting January 12. I'm pretty sure even with three classes that fourth semester can't be as horrible as 3rd was. That was unbelievable. I felt shell shocked after that semester.

Maternity and pediatrics are EASY subjects. You will succeed and pass most likely. I think if I can have any two nursing courses

in my last semester it would be those classes. I breezed through them.

Thanks everyone!
