LA Pierce College Spring 2021

Hello! I applied for the Fall 2020 cycle at Pierce, unfortunatlly due to the coronavirus the TEAS test was cancelled. I just wanted for people going through the same thing and for new applicants to have a place for to discuss their application process. How's everyone’s doing?

Yeah I did! Have you guys done any doctor stuff yet? I did my physical yesterday and got my shots. And I just did bloodwork today and getting my drug test at 2!

I received an email stating the time and email of the instructor. Concepcion said she will reach out with the zoom link once she gets more information. Did we have to email the instructor or how do we register ? 
 

I also received all the forms for the doctors and dentist, so I’ll start working on everything. I am frustrated because I’m not in the program but I’m not out and I can’t even get excited because I have to wait to see if anyone declines their acceptance letter :(

She sent us the link and then a form to sign up for the class and then we pay for it via PayPal or Venmo. Maybe they’re waiting on something before they move forward with people on standby. Not sure. We were told to confirm our spot in the program on December 18th so I’m not sure when your spot would be confirmed.

Yeah that’s frustrating if you don’t know yet especially if you spend all this money on the bloodwork and everything ugh. I hope you guys get in! You should ask her when they will know if you’re in the program or not. But yeah they sent the zoom link for the fire safety course last night and all the documents for physical exam, bloodwork, and dental exam were sent last week.

So I’ve only  done the background check I have the drug test, physical and dental scheduled for next week. As for the people on standby I would email to get the link. Can’t wait to meet everyone on then 15th!

Yes I received them after getting an email saying I got accepted after being on the standby list!

I know me too I’m so excited! I’m curious to see what the orientation entails. Have any of you registered for the first semester classes yet through your portal? IDK if I’m gonna do that until after orientation.
