Hello! I applied for the Fall 2020 cycle at Pierce, unfortunatlly due to the coronavirus the TEAS test was cancelled. I just wanted for people going through the same thing and for new applicants to have a place for to discuss their application process. How's everyone’s doing?

Yeah I haven’t bought the membership yet. I just saw it’s $80 for 2 years. Maybe we will get lucky and not have to pay for it LOL

Yes I got it! So go on the NSNA website and you sign up for their membership. You have to pay $80 for it. And then the malpractice insurance I got is on nurse service organization website. It’s NSO.com and it’s only $20 a year. They will email you a certificate.

Nope. I also tried to enroll in the first semester classes but it won’t let me. Is anyone else having that issue?

I’m pretty sure we will get info mid week or even Thursday. I haven’t tried that yet because I’m assuming they are going to take roll of who’s in the orientation on Friday and let go of anyone who didn’t make it so they can take the wait listed people and add them to our class. I’m sure they will give us instructions on how to do it by the 2nd or 3rd orientation! Have you guys signed up for any CPR classes yet? I think it said they’ll give us that info during orientation right?

Gotcha thank you. I actually just took a CPR class last week and got that out of the way.

Anybody having issues with titers and vaccines? I got my bloodwork back and I’m not immune to mumps so I had to re vaccinate with the mmr. But I believe it takes weeks for antibodies to show up on a titer so I’m not sure I’ll be able to show I’m immune to it by the start of classes. I’m hoping they’ll be understanding of that if I provide proof of re vaccination.
