  1. I totally get that!! That is a tough situation since you work there already but I'm sure they'll completely understand! Sharp is a great hospital ?
  2. Hii! Congratulations on your offers! yes this happened to me too. I got an offer from sharp grossmont a couple months ago for April and then I got offered scripps right before Christmas which is my dream hospital. I left a voicemail for sharp to decline the offer I already accepted and then sent my onboarding advisor an email as well. She was really nice and congratulated me! So don't feel bad just do what's best for you ?
  3. Sorry I just saw this. You should’ve gotten a zoom link last night!
  4. Have you guys been uploading your stuff to CastleBranch? Or gonna wait for further instruction?
  5. Yay good! I’m glad it worked out ☺️ All of the things we need to get done is a lot and stressful LOL
  6. So I did a CNA program awhile back.. and I was in the exact same position as you! I needed a few vaccines and then prove immunity after with titers also. My professors at that other school were totally fine with it as long as I showed proof I got vaccinated and was in the process of being immune. I’m sure these professors will be the same! ? also I doubt we will be in hospitals anytime soon so you’ll be immune anyway before then too
  7. I got mine back on Friday and she said I’m immune to everything so I didn’t need further vaccines. But just show proof that you got vaccinated like with the flu shot and they’ll totally be fine with it! As long as you’re vaccinated you’re good! ☺️
  8. I’m pretty sure we will get info mid week or even Thursday. I haven’t tried that yet because I’m assuming they are going to take roll of who’s in the orientation on Friday and let go of anyone who didn’t make it so they can take the wait listed people and add them to our class. I’m sure they will give us instructions on how to do it by the 2nd or 3rd orientation! Have you guys signed up for any CPR classes yet? I think it said they’ll give us that info during orientation right?
  9. Yeah I haven’t bought the membership yet. I just saw it’s $80 for 2 years. Maybe we will get lucky and not have to pay for it LOL
  10. Yes I got it! So go on the NSNA website and you sign up for their membership. You have to pay $80 for it. And then the malpractice insurance I got is on nurse service organization website. It’s NSO.com and it’s only $20 a year. They will email you a certificate.
  11. I’m not sure.. I was assuming we do for clinicals maybe
  12. Yeah I saw those listed on there too! But I’m just gonna wait til orientation to make sure I’m doing it correctly. Has anyone else gotten a pierce student ID card? I haven’t yet.
  13. Okay perfect so I’m not the only who feels like that LOL
  14. I know me too I’m so excited! I’m curious to see what the orientation entails. Have any of you registered for the first semester classes yet through your portal? IDK if I’m gonna do that until after orientation.
