Hi everyone! I'm starting this discussion for those who applied for SMU ABSN program for the Fall 2024 cohort! I was curious if anyone has received updates/email yet. I personally applied to the Sacramento program. Good luck everyone! I

I have also applied to the Sac campus for Fall 2024.  I don't think we will hear anything until May or June.  So I have heard.  Good luck to everyone also!

Hi! 

I've applied for the Fall cohort as well. I sent my application in around first week of January, have yet to hear anything back, I don't think we'll hear anything before May either. 

I am curious tho, is anyone still finishing up pre-reqs?

Hi, I also submitted mine in January! It makes me anxious to wait so long! I am still finishing up pathophysiology and will be finished in may.

I also applied to Samuel Merritt for fall 2024, but for the San Matteo campus! I hope we hear back soon! I saw that they keep postponing previous deadlines. For example, the application that was for the Summer was due on December 1st, but they postponed it until March 15th. I hope our deadline doesn't get postponed. I would love to get the response ASAP! I am currently finishing up Pharm and Patho!

I'm not super sure. My friend applied last year and she said they postponed her deadline as well due to not a large enough of applicants. Although, I'm not sure if that's true or if she was just speculating. She said she called them several times and asked for their decision because they were taking longer than she had hoped for.

Yes, she did! She applied to the Oakland campus (which is the most competitive because they only have 1 application cycle a year) so I'm hoping I can get into San Matteo because it has 3-4 application cycles a year!

I applied into the San Mateo too! I am also finishing up pharm and patho and hoping to be done by the end of April. Hopefully we all get in! I was reading something abotu SMU being able to expand how many people they can take in, etc and hopefully we hear back by the latest the beginning of May.
