UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

Hello! I applied for the Fall 2020 cycle at Pierce, unfortunatlly due to the coronavirus the TEAS test was cancelled. I just wanted for people going through the same thing and for new applicants to have a place for to discuss their application process. How's everyone’s doing?

there’s a form that they sent us and it has the first week’s schedule. It shows nursing 400, 402, 407 and 408. I can not add them. Maybe because I haven’t been accepted into the program. Hopefully I get some answers by the orientation day.

Yeah I saw those listed on there too! But I’m just gonna wait til orientation to make sure I’m doing it correctly. Has anyone else gotten a pierce student ID card? I haven’t yet.

Do we need an ID card? I have one from years ago when I went for undergrad.

I’m not sure.. I was assuming we do for clinicals maybe

I contacted the bookstore and asked if I could get one and they said that they aren’t taking pictures during this time.

What form what that exactly? The welcome letter?

Does anyone know how we obtain the NSNA membership and ? I tried asking but I didn’t get a response.

I don’t think it’s a regular pierce Id. From what I’ve seen from my friends it’s a special pierce nursing is badge

Yes I got it! So go on the NSNA website and you sign up for their membership. You have to pay $80 for it. And then the I got is on nurse service organization website. It’s NSO.com and it’s only $20 a year. They will email you a certificate.

For the insurance and membership I’m honestly waiting to get those until orientation. As well as waiting to register for classes. Just in case.
